A collection of orchid studies in line and colour each study reproduced to a very limited edition of only prints. The drawings and water colours draw on the singular beauty of any one orchid and is a celebration of the wonderful shapes and colours to be found in the orchid family.
In this collection I am simply enjoying the use of line and colour, the soft tones of pencil work and the vibrant but also gentle use of watercolour. I have used an uncomplicated image, arranged it on the paper, combining the natural beauty with design, illustrating a little detail. The images work well in either a modern or a traditional setting.
The collection is ongoing and at the moment there are 40 studies shown. However there will be the most recent editions to view, so let us know if you wish to see these.
